After running around a big part of the mid lake we finally found our appointed angler for the day. Edwin Evers, who started the morning in second, is chunking and winding and covering water. When we pulled up on him he had caught his first keeper of the morning and according to the spectators watching him that’s the only one he’s put in the box. We didn’t get much of a glimpse of it but it wasn’t big. But good enough to start the day. When Bassmaster Live gets started here soon you will likely get to see that and much more.
Just in the time we were looking for Evers, we saw a variety of ways these guys are approaching these flooded conditions. All of them are interesting and should give us all a good look at how to do some things when we are faced with these kinds of water levels.
