Last week was great, absolutely fantastic. Becky, Vegas and I spent a few days at a motel near Douglas Lake just kickin’ back and enjoying life.
I was up with Randy VanDam (Kevin’s brother) at the D & R Sports Center in Kalamazoo, Michigan a couple of weeks ago doing seminars and the response was overwhelming.
OK guys, it’s time for Going Ike, my new TV show, to get rolling. It’s a chance for you to participate by submitting your favorite ocean, lake, river or stream to be featured on one of our shows. And it’s a chance for you to see me fishing without a net.
The new Toyota Tundra Bassmaster Angler of the Year points system punishes anglers who have a bad tournament. Some of the Elites can already be counted out of the 2012 AOY race.
Having the first weekend off in the 2012 Elite season isn’t my idea of a good time. Nevertheless, it’s Florida. I honestly don’t know why but the Sunshine State has always been a challenge to me.
